We have been performing on-site cremation services for over 40 years.  Our cremation equipment was the newest on the market when it was first installed in the 1960's.  Our unit was small and not very efficient towards the end of it's life, so we installed a new state-of-the-art crematorium in 2006 (manufactured by Matthews Cremation Group).  This new unit is much more efficient as well as much larger that the earlier version.  In fact, it is just a bit smaller than what is used in the human cremation industry.

 

This is a photo of our new unit.  It is large enough for group cremations as well as several partitioned individual cremations for ash recovery.  The unit is extremely energy efficient and also has built in pollution monitoring. 

Our Crematorium is usually run on Wednesday nights, so ashes may be picked up as early as Thursday.

If you are worried about receiving your own pet's ashes, please be assured that we are a very ethical practice.  We can guarantee that your pet's ashes will be returned to you in full.

We know that some clients would like to watch their pet's cremation, but due to the small area and also for safety reasons, we cannot accommodate that request.  We will, however, be happy to show you our crematorium and answer any questions that you may have.

 

We offer two types of cremation services

  
  • Community Cremation - your pet will be cremated and the ashes will not be returned to you.
  • Partitioned Cremation and your pet's ashes returned to you - your pet will be cremated and the ashes will be returned to you in a temporary container.

We offer a limited supply of permanent urns for the ashes in a variety of sizes

  
  • Plain Oak hinged boxes
  • Oak hinged boxes with decorative flower inlays on top
  • Paw Print tins

We also carry catalogs with other options that can be special ordered

  
  • Metal Urns
  • Jewelry
  • Dog house and Cat shaped
  • Some with photo frames
  • Most can be inscribed with the pet's name etc.
