Explain your position at Pahle Small Animal Clinic and how long you
have been here.
Certified Veterinary Technician/Technical Team leader. I play the
multiple roles of animal nurse practitioner/physician's assistant as
well as a supervisor.
What is your favorite part of your position at Pahle Small Animal
Clinic?
Working with a
compassionate staff to tackle medical mysteries and challenging dental
cases. Being able to combine my two passions - medicine and animal
care.
Where were you born?
I reside in Burlington
Where did you go to school? What was your favorite subject?
Madison Area Technical College - graduated with ANS in Veterinary
Technology. Fav subject = Anatomy and Physiology
What are your hobbies? How do you spend your time away from the
clinic?
Biking, hiking, fishing, camping, and when there's snow - snowmobiling
and cross country skiing
Can you tell us a little about your family?
Happily married with 4 "fur kids"
What made you decide on a career in the veterinary field?
I
had my first animal emergency when I was five years old. My toad,
"Big Red", jumped out of my hand and became stunned. I thought he
died, so I pressed on his chest and blew in his nose. He started
to wiggle and I was overjoyed! That's when I knew I would be in
this profession.
What is your favorite holiday and why?
Christmas - reunited with family and giving gag gifts to my
mother-in-law!
