Veterinary Assistants are very important to our clinic.  Without them, we'd never get our work done.  They are always there and willing to help with any needs of the vets, techs, receptionists, caretakers as well as the pets in their care.  This is the way most veterinarians and technicians get their start.  It's a great introduction into the field and definitely separates the people that like to play with animals, from the people that really want to help them!
